Smart Health

About

Implementation Party

The project develops an innovative technology infrastructure, with supra/regional, local and individual applications which empower new intervention models in the main moments of citizens’ health and welfare. The starting point is the “pre-clinical” area (welfare, lifestyles and prevention), onto the management of emergencies and acute cases (diagnosis through innovative devices, optimasation of medical treatment) until the de-hospitalization, home caring and telemedicine chronic cases. The connection between “vertical” elements of medical treatment happens in “open” mode on a horizontal technological “cloud” platform. Data is shared in conformity with what is stated in the Second Generation Electronic Healthcare File (and in compliance with the InFSE and the National Guidelines), which enables technical, semantic and organization interoperability for the exchange of data and the aggregation and intelligent monitoring of healthcare events. The above mentioned context also includes the development of a platform meant to formalize and optimise cures and collect diverse and distributed data. Other horizontal themes are the monitoring devices of clinical risks (risk management) and the empowerment of healthcare professionals and authorities and territorial planning.

The objective of the Smart Health 2.0 project is to promote the innovation of the Health System by developing ICT tecnologies. The project deals with all the legal aspects connected with health (cures, prevention, assistance) by proposing innovative and technological solutions.
